I'm cheering for Lyft. I've always liked the ability to tip drivers with Lyft and now they are regularly cheaper than Uber. I tip at least the difference in price back the driver. Win-win-win for Lyft, their drivers and me.

Supporting Lyft = supporting humanity. Supporting Uber = supporting harassment, suicide and sexism. Simple choice.

Worked at apple.. did not like the work culture.. Apple may be no.1 in products that doesn't mean its top notch employer.. damn that secrecy.. forget about projects and all.. no transparency in pay info and bonuses are joke .. at the whims and fancies of manager.. heard about twice a year bonuses after my 1st year.. was there for 5 years did not like at all.. esp from career growth perspective

@iiiiii people who have been there longer and were oversold on stock options actually did have the mindset of not really having a choice to leave. it's your retirement your financial security. this was "the next Google", "the next Tesla". getting in on the ground floor was worth putting up with abusive managers. I wish I hadnt been offered the options and just paid the same as other people in the valley. The managers weren't only evil but they were also stupid. You don't use "constructive dismissal" methods (google that term) on employees who feel completely married to a job, it's sadistic and draconian. thats why people put up with it until they had breakdowns. no, they don't feel like they can leave.

Be humble Lyft guy. Seriously, we should have the utmost respect for Uber as a competitor

We have a long way to go and a lot of challenges to do: global, hitting 50% marketshare, and autonomous.

Let's be honest Uber is global and the market leader still, so we have a long ways to go.

We've made a lot of progress over the past 4 years but it's going to be uphill to win.

I didn't know Lyft was spending its new funding on blind ads.

Uber does the hard work of building a new industry and standing up to the taxi mafia, fake media and political elite. Lyft follows the footprints, creates an effete logo and enables SWPLs to propagate the awful tipping aristocracy.

    yay Lyft! you go girl!

I agree, it's a tragedy that the service industry can get away with paying poverty wages and expecting workers to make it up with tips. Let's try to fix that problem instead of making it worse.
