    Ukraine, Russia and Belorus. Upwork just announced they are stopping operations in the latter two, hence they will loose the devs who work there (unless they can relocate to a different country). Most of the veteran devs happen to be exactly there…

    What an odd company. I received feedback right away in an interview call with engineering, that they liked me and want me to join the team asap. But then I get a standard reject mail.

      Well, hard to tell. Most engineers are located in a war zone. The compayis trying to help relocate. Uncertain how many devs will actually continue working in the short-mid term. Not to mention the freelancers who are in the region and (used to) generate revenue. I see headwinds…

    • Sounds like the headwinds you are referring to are not favorable? Are the engineers literally located in Ukraine? They mentioned they hire Eng through their own talent platform, but figured that was global, not confined to a specific geography
