I’m graduating soon with a bachelors in cybersecurity and I’m looking for new grad positions but haven’t even had a single interview. I have almost a years worth of internship experience and some decent certs (Pentest+, Security+, Network+, ISC2 SSCP, etc.) I have a full-time analyst rotational program offer from a previous internship with low pay so I want more (84k). Am I wasting my time applying for these security engineering roles at these big companies if I don’t know how to code? I feel like they’re more so looking for software engineers who like security. Don’t know what to do and I do not want to move for that new job this summer :( #cybersecurity #security #newgrad #interview
