I have an on-site soon with capital one for their technology development program (2 year full time). I'm wondering how best to prepare and also what's that program like? Will it give me a good springboard to start my career post graduation?
What's your opinion on starting my career there as a tdp
TDPs I’ve seen are working pretty hard and are pretty smart. Def depends what team you land on
What are some good teams and what do they work on?
Lol just be careful, I heard the tdp rotation process is a mess so your listed preferences don’t matter too much
Leetcode easy and behavioral questions!
Should I study anything for the case interview? Looked over the video they sent and it was super simple math and business jargon lol
Yeah do a few just so you know what to expect. It’s just business BS imo.
Leetcode easys and make sure that you know how to smile
Lmao what do you think about working there?
Possibly best place to work aside from the big four. Your experience depends largely upon the team, but that seems to be the case everywhere. I don't regret starting my career there, but it feels largely like a stepping stone towards something greater now.
Also what's the best way to prep for interviews there?
Leetcode easys -- and do your shit in Java even if they tell you that you can answer the technical questions in any language. I think the case study is always the hardest part. I don't have any good advice for it.
I have had tdps on my team not get great rotations since they said it was basically a lottery and they have been somewhat vocal about it.
Make sure you have a pulse and are comfortable sitting for months without doing anything.
Haha thats how my job is now. Is it the same at C1? I've heard TDP is pretty good
Where'd you hear that? Reddit? The HR department posted that. http://desudesudesu.io/
