Base would be ~82k+€. Bonus is 15% if you meet expectations. RSUs are only given in refreshers and not at joining.
You can try negotiating the base to something like 87k~ On top of that 15% target bonus + yearly stock refreshers, around 30-35k USD, vests 1/3rd for 3 years
So you start getting refreshers after a year
And they don't start vesting till next year
Comp for TL is actually the comp for base role. The TL at Booking is expected to have technical contributions as well. So you are Dev + TL, or Sr. Dev + TL. The difference is that TLs are somehow higher in the range for the base role, maybe 5-10% higher. But a Sr. Dev will have higher TC than Dev + TL. The team is 3-5 ppl. Managers is where the management ladder starts, MSD is one level above Sr. Dev, on par with Principal Dev.
Assuming your core role is dev, it's €80k to €85k + 1% to 5% extra for the TL position. Expect up to €5.5k per month after tax, with the 30% ruling. Assuming you meet expectations, in March each year: 15% cash bonus, around €8k after tax. $20k unvested stock, ⅓ vesting per year. If you exceed expectations, the bonus and stock can double.
When you ask for compensation normally you say the amount without bonuses, etc or you need to ask for total number (keeping in mind bonuses, stocks) from the beginning?
Usually recruiters will ask you if the amount you are asking for is just for basic or if it's include everything. I'm in Europe and I have seen this behaviour in the UK and France.
