Lhasa momos in queens
Mamoun's falafel
Birria landia
Ramen danbo
Levain bakery and magnolia
Some shitty cheesecake place by prince st, that for some reason I canโt stop avoiding it
Most restaurants are way overpriced, but there are plenty of good places everywhere.
But my favorite place is Pig Beach BBQ in Brooklyn. There is also another BBQ by Sunset that might be even a bit better, but that is a bit too far.
For cocktails ๐ธ โdeath and coโ, is the best but they are always busy on weekends.
Katz sometimes, but it gets too packed and of course it is overpriced.
Panna Cafe Ice Cream in Gramercy Park. Make sure to get the pana topic. Really good.
Astor Pl/8th st has some Japanese yakitori places which are legit really good.
Due to social media, Any good place, as soon as the word gets out, gets overcrowded fast, and over time they start cutting corners and turn touristy.
It is a very NYC thing that you have access to so many food and choices, yet on weekends almost everything good is completely overcrowded.
