Best investment platform? (Current robinhood user)

I’ve only been using RH for personal investing in stocks but I’m getting my hands into etfs and other asset classes. Should I continue using rh, or are there any other low-cost / free etf trading platforms I should look into?

Also, I am planning to put in 10k across 2-3 ETFs. Is this a good/bad idea?

I have been using Robinhood, WeBull, Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade.
I like TD Ameritrade the most (supports all platforms, great tools for analysis, hotline is always available and super helpful).
Robinhood is more like a yolo stock gamble app that provides nice colors and confetti emojis, but zero analysis tools and the extra information you unlock with the paid membership is free on most other well established platforms.

Creating an account with any all of the providers is free, so you can also check out for yourself the platforms you are interested in and get a feeling which one suits your needs best.

Haha, fair point. I initially tried all of them out and later on consolidated into TD for long term investing and Robinhood for some autist yolos. I feel like running two separate accounts for those purposes saved me a lot of trouble/ reduces the risk of fomoing all my play money into random gut feeling moves ;)
