Joining meta in 1 month as a manager. A few questions about the boot camp:
1. I understand one of the main things is the team match, so I assume there will be a lot of fit meetings with different hiring managers? So Is there an internal website where I can find jobs and reach out?
2. Are there many training classes (many meaning more than 10 hours per week)?
3. Any hands on coding work for managers?
Thanks!

2. Lots of classes in the first couple of weeks. They're pretty decent though. After that, you pick up tickets for random teams and fix things. It's actually kind of fun and a good way to interact with potential teams. They have a pretty oiled system for these bootcamp tasks.
3. Yep. Even directors and preallocated folks. There are different sized tasks, and you can pick tiny ones.
It was fun when things were onsite, since there's a huge dedicated area in mpk for bootcamp, and it had a nice, collegey atmosphere. Idk how that's translating in the current situation.
Additionally, there is def more than 10 hours of training videos per week.
Dont worry too much about not being picked up by the team. Lots of teams are hiring.
