Not necessarily staying your whole career, but the opportunities that it leads to in the industry. Also not saying other companies don't either, just specifically curious about these 2.

1*2 is what sets you up, at any point in time. There's no concept of 'set up for life'.

If you don’t think this then you haven’t been on the other side. I am mid 30s and started out of undergrad at a no name company making $25k as an analyst. It’s only due to strategic career moves after I finally landed at Amazon. Took me until I was 30 to make $100k after I realized the job market and wised up. I lost nearly 10 years of investing and am behind many at FAANG. However, I am grateful to be where I am and able to save the amount I do.
