Retire by 45? Rate my NW, lifestyle creep and portfolio
My wife got two remote offers and both of them are very similar. Now we need to make a decision on which one to join. Can someone share their experience in any of these companies which might be a red flag or a green signal.#culture #officelife
Pluralsight as a company probably more relevant with more transferable knowledge down the line. Siriusxm anchored around car radios and doesn't have a clear path to any sort of innovation / growth.
The team she is going to be responsible for podcast publishing at SiriusXM. I personally like Pluralsight too because of online education is growing but I wanted to keep my bias aside and wanted other’s opinion.
Podcast role could be interesting. But siriusxm has changed strategy multiple times over the years and with Spotify investing so heavily in podcasts, not sure how long it will last. Could be a good 2 year role
I left a PNW tech company for Pluralsight. No regrets. CEO is excellent. Great culture. I’m FT remote before COVID. No silly hours. People do good work and the company has a good moral compass.
Would she be working for SiriusXM directly or Pandora?
She will be working for SiriusXM
Okay, I know more about Pandora but I’d go with SiriusXM personally.
