Yes I have read through the past 'is LC premium worth it' threads but my situation is a bit more specific. I am not at Infosys any more. LC premium is on sale at $129 for the year instead of $159. Here is why I am questioning if it is worth it for me: 1. I am a noob at interviews. I still need to learn Data structures and Algos, then I will start with CTCI and LC (easy first). I did not do CS at school but did a related major so I never took Data structures and Algos. 2. I am not going after the top tier FB/G/Uber type companies. I am going for Microsoft, OCI, VMware, PayPal type companies which are considered not as tough. The reason is because I am looking to interview in 4-6 months while the top tier companies would likely take even longer preparation than that. Overall I am looking for Bay Area/Seattle companies in general so need to prepare accordingly because their interviews are very tough. I am also only 9 months YOE and lot of companies are not even hiring at this level. It would be a shame if I paid for premium and end up not even getting any interviews. Given how early I am in the overall interview grind process, is it worth getting LC premium seeing as I am months away from being able to actually use it? Or should I just focus on all of the free questions? USA is location, not on visa.

Seems like a cheap investment, $129 spent to potentially earn $200k in one year and more in 3-5 years.
