Pretentious techies whose whole personality revolves around their FAANG company, skyrocketing living expenses, and homeless effers in every corner.

    Why not live in Mill Valley/ Marin County and avoid those techies and the homeless people? Best kept secret of the Bay. Thats what I have been doing since 2019

  • You won't regret it. High taxes, unaffordable housing, crime ridden cities and disaster of a government. Still baffles me why anyone wants to live there under the current circumstances which are akin to a third world country. Go live like a king somewhere else.

    • SF is the next Chicago (albeit Chicago despite a mass exodus for years has a worthwhile element of culture to it at least). Give it another 10 years. There's only so much people can take. Remote work is finally giving a lot of people a chance to escape the hell that is the bay area.
