so i interviewed for a company on thursday (Square, Paypal, affirm, etc)... here is the story, i will try to keep it brief.. i was supposed to have a final interview on 1/10, but they pushed it all the way to 1/30 because of lack of availability. thats fine, w.e. so i get on Zoom on Thursday, and i had to wait 15 mins for the guy to show up. he finally shows up and apologizes for being late. so we start the interview. he was not really prepared and then asked me like 3 questions and asks what questions i had. i prepared a few and asked him and that was that. he kept it short because i was supposed to speak with 3 other people. so im waiting on zoom while he messages the rest of the team and now everyone i was supposed to talk to is unavailable. they just restructured the department and role and i guess no one was able to speak. mind you, they already pushed this interview back over 2 weeks, so i pushed the rest of my interviews back to this week. so while he is im’ing, i keep asking some basic questions to keep the conversation alive, and he basically says that we are going to have to set another day to interview because even though we spoke, he wants me to speak to whoever would be my manager, so i say ok he asked me what my timeline was and i said honestly i was trying to make a final decision by Tuesday because taking any job would require a substantial move and i want to be settled before starting my job. he said “we will try to connect first thing monday morning, once he figures out what is going on with the team and give me the opportunity to ask whatever questions i need to make a decision on them.” he then disconnected the call. i later submitted my availability for monday to Hr and got no response. im not sure what happened. ive never had an interview where i couldnt talk to most of the people i was supposed to interview. is this company still worth considering? One thing: do not come not matter what.
Name the company. I need one for interview practice.
I wouldn't go there. If that's how they treat candidates, imagine how they treat their employees.
Probably alot better lol what kind of logic is this
Probably had a huge layoff or re-org and no one knows what’s going on

Likely affirm
Email the recruiter that you enjoyed the interviews and are ready to entertain their offer.
This. Just move forward assuming they are going through stuff. Things happen, give the benefit of the doubt.
Here are some possibilities: no budget, boss slow or can’t make decisions, hr and hiring dept disjointed - bad process. Whatever it says a lot about what it’s like working there.

Out with the company. Can't say anything unless you tell us the company
