What tools to pick up for moving from C++ Linux native to Web?

Ruby seems to still be popular, which surprised me.
I last touched web dev (front and back end) in 2016. Early React, a custom C#.NET MVC w/ Microsoft SQL Server, pre-ES6 JS, a little Ruby on Rails. Everything I knew is rusty and obsolete.
Doing large (8-figure LOC) C++11 monolithic application maintenance and minor feature development for 🥜, looking to get back into Web/high tech to get my TC at least up to 200+ remote.
What do you use? What do you recommend learning? Tagged some promising mid tier companies as potential interests. Should I start with React? Vue? NoSQL? Postgres? Rails? Django? Kubernetes? Don't need a fancy job, just a good one in a good organization that's ok with remote work.
