What is the scope of work assigned to an E6 at facebook?
Is it predominantly an IC role or a leadership role?
Does FB have formal Tech lead roles like Google does?

Since you are answering like this, I presume there is no official role and it’s up to the engineer to figure out a way to be valuable.
