Post pandemic, the homeless population has gotten so aggressive. Much worse than what it was five years ago. Coming home after dinner and some drinks, homeless would stop and stare or starting following me and my gf around. Today, saw an incredibly aggressive dude breaking stuff on the subway and threatening bystanders. It’s gotten so bad that this is almost expected every time we go out now.

Suddenly, isolated houses in Montana seems quite appealing. I always did like nature and animals

That fellow must be an ex-amazonian who became a victim of PIP.

I still prefer it over the bay, Cali is the #1 spot for 3rd world levels of poverty and homelessness.

It is in volume. SF is only 7x7 miles in area, so it feels like an unlimited supply of bums even though the bum count is a fraction of NYC. NYC makes SF look like a town.

Move to Europe. We have pretty much no homeless people here, and those we do have aren’t aggressive like that.

Expect lower TC. though, like, half yours. Because you know, we have a social system and everything.

@honeywell Idk about Berlin, I live in Cologne. And I said ‚pretty much no homeless people‘ which is really true for Cologne at least.

There are some who fall through the cracks so to speak and there are some eastern european people who come to Germany over the summer to ‚beg for money‘ and then return home. But it’s not comparable to the situation in the US by any margin. Also the homeless people here never attack you.
You can run crime stats for any US city and compare it to European cities… 90% of European cities are safer, more healthy, and have less crime.
