Another one of these kinds of posts. I’ve read through others but I think this is worth being on its own and maybe help others with suggestions below
Recently passed team match for L3, and recruiter is setting up a call to discuss offer details. In the meantime they’ve asked to send details of my competing offer. No offer letter was asked for yet, just “details”.
How specific should I be? They already know company name, they’ve asked in the past. I have all the details in an offer letter minus signon as that’s been negotiated recently.
Do I tell them just the base and let them come back again if they need more info/the letter itself?
Trying to keep it open so I’m not lowballed in the beginning. Have another offer I’m expecting soon which would have more leverage than my current offer.
Any suggestions or feedback on how you’d navigate a situation like this is genuinely appreciated!
TC: can update when I have numbers and after some negotiations to maintain a little higher anonymity

I’ve been taking advantage of the short timeline it has helping speed me along the process, and now they’ve asked for the competing offers’ info
Essentially you want google to give you an offer and ONLY IF it’s lower than your other offer then you give it to google
