#seattle ahat is commute like from Sammamish/Issaquah for Amazon emoloyees? I see there in internal app “scoop” where employees can find a car ride. Amazon does a shuttle from Sammamish, it is free? Does it need reservation? Do people take bus(public transport) as well? why no one drives?
There are several Sound Transit bus routes with regular service from the eastside. Amazon will give you an orca card and they are then free. But none of them goes to South Lake Union, believe it or not. From memory, Denny/Stewart is the closest ST stop to SLU. Amazon has shuttles from Sammamish and Issaquah, but I am out of date so will let others give you the details. All the routes info is on Inside.
Thanks it looks like there are multiple shuttles from sammamish state park. They depart every 15 minutes. I assume you can get on to any bus as long as you are registered to ride the bus.
I noticed a bus stop at Stewart and Yale with many bus lines that is walkable from SLU.

I drive occasionally into work. I mostly take the free Amazon shuttle which departs from Sammamish State Park.
Is the shuttle complimentary? Can you just walk in and ride or you have to register?
Technically you have to register and yes it's totally free. Even if they put you on a wait list you will still be able to get on. I don't think I've ever seen them turn anybody away. The Amazon buses are way better than the public transportation buses. Their cleaner and don't smell like a public transit bus.
