companies with significant signing bonus?
What are companies other than FANG that offer huge singing bonuses? How about finance companies like TwoSigma, CitaDel etc? I would be happy to fired after receiving a signing bonus or let to coast. Yoe:7, TC:320
My data point: 100k signing at two sigma for quant swe with 3 yoe.
You have to give back sign on bonus if you leave or get fired within 1 year. Do you really think these companies are no foolish?

Facebook, Apple (for some candidates). Need to return the bonus but you might be able to negotiate for waiving the right to sue 🤣 Amazon also gives massive signing bonus. But in reality it’s for compensating the lower base and lack of RSU vesting in the first two years. It’s also given in a monthly basis for big amounts. FB gives upfront.
