Why do we let them rack up miles while AA employees get no miles when we fly for work on business?
Contractors pay seats full price
Ummm yeah and get miles unlike us employees getting no miles
You get flight benefits, we don't
Not even z fares
Depends on the airline and the contractor. If the contractor pays as a revenue passenger for their travel, then they are afforded all the benefits and perks as any other traveller. Sometimes the airline will provide a positive-space pass with lots of restrictions and zero benefits. Then in rare cases, the airline pays for the travel but must adhere to the contractors’ own internal travel policy (business class long haul etc.)
