I just passed Google HC and now they are revewing the offer. Recruiter reached out and asked for my expectation and I gave the numbers that I think is really reasonable compared to my current package (only 10-20% increase) . However the recruiter indicates it is difficult to meet the numbers and they cannot share any info of the offer to me until it is finally approved.
If the numbers turn out to be bad, how to negotiate? I didn’t apply for other jobs as I am quite comfortable with my current role.
Thanks!

My recommendation is get a good competing offer.
I had few competing offers and they only budged once I showed them my offer letter. They more than doubled RSUs in couple hours of presenting other offer. This after claiming my initial offer was a good one and numbers I was asking for was impossible.
Google was the only company that was asking me to show offer letter and low-balling so hard. All the best with your offer.
2. Then again, it's Google...they tend to lowball. Try to get competing offers to strengthen your negotiation.
