I feel useless and devastated. Am I too late to the party?

I'm not a US citizen. I graduated high school at the age of 19 in my home country (that's the age everyone does). 5 years at college to graduate with an engineering degree (+ 1 year as an exchange student abroad in between), followed by 2 years to get my masters in the US. As a result, I started my 1st job at the age of 27.5 as a consultant last year.

I have this habit of checking out the LinkedIn profiles of managers, senior/staff engineers, guest speakers etc. I feel devastated when I see everyone started out at the age of 22/23/24, so many are managers and even directors at the age of 28/29, while I'm still on OPT doing a shitty consultancy job and struggling to make ends meet. It's so painful because I feel a victim of the horrible educational system of my home country where many years are wasted.

I wanted to get this off my chest. I feel utterly useless. I feel that no matter how hard I work I'll never be able to catch up.
