Vettery acquires Hired

More like Adecco merged 2 failing companies. As someone who works at vettery, I have seen employees leave because of low pay, stagnant growth, and low morale. Vettery banks on constantly hiring new people and inspiring them, only for them to leave 1 year later or earlier. Adecco only made this purchase because it wants to seem ‘techy’ since it only owns other recruiting agencies. Its an expensive PR move. At the very core, both Vettery and Hired are losing millions of dollars, have flat to no growth, and are bad invesments. Adecoo will soon slice off the fat, and lay off employees to cut costs on these invesments. Our tech is bad, there is no innovation whatsoever. I mean, look at our glassdoor reviews! Dont be fooled by the positive ones because the marketing team is forced to write good reviews. Vetterys platform will basically be shutdown, accounts will be moved over to Hired, and all our work basically goes to waste. New engineers, account executives planning to join Vettery, beware! read the glassdoor reciews, the negative ones are completely accurate of the company culture. The CTO has no idea how to run the tech department and is a complete baboon. With minimal experience, he was hired with a touch of nepotism from the CEO. The founders were the smart ones who left after the acquisition and handed this shit show to the new CEO. If you look at Hired glassdoor reviews theyre pretty shit too. @vettery @hired #recruiting #tech #hiring #layoffs #startups

Does this mean that the relentless emails Hired have been sending me mean nothing???

Love the hot takes here! It definitely feels like the CEO of Adecco is just buying a shiny new toy for his collection, similar to the sports car collection he owns. Looking forward to seeing what our contracts look like in the new year. I know a lot of us are hoping for raises or promotions. We shall see if you are right!

Hey, do you still work at hired? I received an offer recently and some of the commentary here seems quite negative. Have things changed? I found everyone quite pleasant to speak with during my interviews.
