Whose work life balance is worse with WFH?
At first, I was happy not to commute. But my workload has increased, my throat hurts constantly from talking in meetings, I actually have less time to take care of myself then before. Im working 12 hours; which means I am still too tired to exercise or cook. My body hurts from sitting all day because: more meetings. I don’t get my steps/walks.
Why is this my truth? Other people seem to be on WFH vacation. I see people working out more and cooking. WTH?
Im an extrovert who wont die from social distancing but something during the day has to give.
I really dont think some companies understand the strain on their employees. If I had kids, I’d really be messed up.
We get extra benefits at work to subsidize our ability to overwork. Without the benefits, shit.
And yes I know I should be happy to have a job, doesnt mean I wont burn out either.

Niw i work 5-10 hours a WEEK. Similar story on my team and everyone i interact with
How long until their workforce gets sick from burnout in mass. One burn out here or there is manageable. But full teams who hold all the knowledge.
We were meeting with her at 5:30pm and she wanted the edits made that day. I was at the end of my rope - LOL. We ended up presenting the deck "as-was" to our VP and it was fine.
Def feeling more stress.
Most presentations stop at slide #3 and the whole deck got tossed out on a whim and you busted your ass for those other 25 slides for nothing
