Hi folks - I’ve worked in the usa then returned to India and started a company with a sister llc registered in the usa. the company in India has revenues north of 350k. Do you guys know the chances of L1 getting approved for a small business owner ( biz is in exports of usa goods and ai and ml in tech). This question has been killing me lately - any insight would be appreciated!

Very slim chances. Even Google is getting rejects for L1 nowadays.

Yes I’m the founder and ceo and took the company from zero to 350k - dont know if that will help. Not sure about L1 blanket - i thought that was for big companies. We are small with less than 5 team members

  • Is it legal - Yes, you can come on L1A to set up , grow your business
Is it possible - Yes, but not easy. You need a good lawyer for sure

  • We'll, if you're an owner, it might be more complex.
But as a CEO you can try. As a first step you need file a petition to include both companies into the blanket, it's the hardest part, but it's possible if you have a good lawyer.
