I interviewed with Intel recently and found out the job grade through my Intel friend using their internal jobs listing. I wanted to know if there can be any discrepancy between that job grade and the job grade which they will hire me at?

Interview went well and i am hoping to get an offer.

Manager can adjust the grade by one level up or down. If you are expecting a job grade higher than 1 the req is posted for then, to my knowledge, not possible.

Obviously these exist everywhere but you won’t really experience it in big cities. Especially when you mix it with sever seasonal depression, and no sun I don’t think it’s worth moving here. & if you’re young, I wouldn’t suggest living in the suburbs. But before you make a choice, book a flight here and see for yourself. Go out in public and interact with these people & you’ll see what I mean.

Typically in intel, the hiring and offer letter will be based on the job req title. Each req has a job code and an associated title. This may not be in-sync with the title on the req. At before signing the offer you can ask the recruiter and the manager for email confirmation on what is the exact job code you will be joining.
