Just completed a online assessment for Amazon. I missed an edge case causing one of my answers to fail 1 of 23 test cases. Am I toast? All said I did make it to the next level. Just got the email.
You’ll be placed in a lower tier of problem solvers, and will have to pay back Amazon for wasted compute.
Yes. You‘re supposed to get 100% on OA. Remember they won’t be reading your code to give you partial credit.
not the case anymore, bar is set to get anyone to a phone screen who got at least something right
You'd probably be fine. I know people who missed a couple of cases and still moved to onsite. BTW, were you not able to run all the test cases before submitting?
All test cases run when testing, but you can only see the input and output for the first two.
That's odd. IIRC, when I did it, I'm pretty sure I was able to go to another tab (in the same test window) and see if all tests for that particular question have passed. Each question has over 10 cases or something like that.
It will probably go to manual review and you will likely get through to on site.
Are the application pools topically small enough that they would take the time?
They will regardless of applicant pool size. You wont get penalized for a single small mistake. It’ll take more than that to reject you. But they won’t tell you if it’s manually reviewed or not. You’ll just know pass or fail.
I don’t think that would be fine
We will see right? OP let us know how it goes.
Will do.
For which team/position? I just gave one yesterday, 2nd question was messed-up!!
Alexa team.
Seattle? There are so many Alexa teams.
I failed a case too and got an onsite invite
Good to hear
What sort of questions are there?
Lol should be fine
