I have an idea and I have a research document to back the usefulness of the idea. but I don't have a functional app or website to use as an MVP. all the design studio I saw wants to collect $20,000 upfront which I don't have. so I am thinking of Y combinator accelerator program. thoughts?
You can build an mvp without code using webflow.
Also, pen and paper.
True! This platform requires more than add and drop I would've used it. It requires a lot of coding - it's a marketplace and an on-demand service.
Donโt waste $20K on design for something that will be redesigned. Start with basics. We are launching a 30D Endeavour Validation Program this week with limited capacity. Low risk, high reward, low cost. $600 USD and you will either: 1. Flush it and save pain 2. Pivot 3. Use the Pre-readiness Report and off board with us 4. Use the Pre-readiness Report and advance to our 90 day Seed Readiness program. Involves leadership and product discovery. Can send some deets. No pressure. It can be muddy. We help make it clear and ease fear and uncertainty.
You need more than an mvp, you need a product, some traction, and a solid founding team
All great points, but the alignment between all three matters and matters more and more as time goes on, unless you like burning capital on the BBQ. Presence of all three is necessary, but insufficient.
OP, I can give be your technical co-founder and get your MVP built.
From my own experience you need *at least* some mvp, ideally a bit of traction as well. If that's not something you think you can do, you need a technical co-founder.
Wow, thank you for the info. I can't really write a lot of codes and it's tough to find a co-founder honestly. All the online co-founder marketplace are just not reliable.
