Dating for Marriage is Hard
Both are doomed. Terrible margins.
Go for Uber as eng. Business success depends on sales and ops, where eng is less relevant
Doordash hands down. Chase just subsidized them with all millennials for the next two years. Uber eats will shut down shortly.
Lol nice joke. You think Uber will keep quiet after such an aggressive move?
Not joking at all. Uber eats is a huge drain on profitability. Uber promised profitability to the market so they will either spinoff or shut down the eats business soon and the stock price will cheer. Throwing away more money is not on the table.
Definitely not Uber eats. People who say Uber eats are just still drinking coolaid (or cool down) after the layoffs. Doordash hands down is probably better among both.
Why do you say that? Any days points or reasons?
Uber eats, they will even use every bit of their infrastructure and logistics to turn actual profits. Doordash is a bunch of kids and crooks living under the grace of SoftBank
Lol. What is this infrastructure you speak of? Last I checked they don’t own their deliver fleet or the drivers and full self driving is a pipe dream.
The infrastructure they have built and are building for their ride-sharing business. They have a large fleet to use at their disposal. Sure they laid off a bunch, but they'll work their way around next. If doordash goes ipo with their 13b valuation and the shitpunk business model, they will lick trouble's ass
DoorDash. They are so creative with collecting fees and tips from eaters and drivers that they are making bank
Door dash hands down All the good talent from Uber eats I knew also voted with their legs and moved to DoorDash
Definitely Uber eats, as it has it's bigger brother Uber to support it during difficult times.
How’s culture and comp at Uber these days? Everyone I know there has left
The same big brother laid off many people during difficult times.
