i run a non funded startup. we have build a product aiming for enterprise’s. i did get few customers based on my contacts And network. however, i m stuck at this point. current prospects are not enough and taking forever to convert one line answer is to do Sales And marketing. but i don’t have a Lot of Money to invest. i was thinking to hire a freelancer who can be paid hourly basis to start doing some lead generation. but then i need someone who can drive it to the point where the lead is actually qualified rather giving me a excel sheet of 1000s of contacts that needs to be run through a whole marketing funnel. any suggestions what i should be doing to drive serious leads at this point? i am a pure technical person so this is a big challenge for me. to be clear i am not expecting hiring an hourly paud guy who will start generating 100s of interested prospects right away. my hope is someone knowledgable who knows what he is doing And can start giving us the movement in this direction. i personally tried licensing LinkedIn Sales navigators but realized at least i am not cut for this. all suggestions welcome
I ran sales in a B2B startup and I can advise you at this point your best bet is to hire a full time sales person. 1) it is too early for you to divide lead gen and closing, especially when you are still trying to figure out your target persona and product fit. You need someone who can handle the entire process so that person can quickly pivot your pitch without wasting too much time 2) a sales person always pay for themselves so you shouldn’t worry about making a big investment. You can always negotiate a low base and a high commission to incentivise them. As for marketing, it takes longer to build a functioning pipeline so I would advise you to do it later when you have money
I did a dm to you please reply there
