I read through some old posts about work-life balance at Facebook. Not very promising :D I was wondering about the Boston office in particular. Anyone has insights?

A lot of people with kids come in earlier and leave earlier.
Oncall varies per team but I don't think any of the teams based in Boston have brutal oncalls and nothing approaches Amazon levels of it.
Wednesdays are semi-official no meeting days and many people work from home. If you need to do so a bit more often it's something to work out with your manager and will most strongly depend on how productive / communicative you are when doing so.
