Gave my notice today and manager asked me to stay and dicuss my new offer.
I am yet to have a meeting but would love to know what should be my response.
3 cases :
1) They offer slightly lower than the current offer
2) They offer the same
3) They offer more than the current (Highly unlikely)
Would like to get opinion on either of these three cases
Should I stay if counter offer is same or more?
Current TC : 150K
Offer TC : 230K (Almost 50% bump from current TC)
Counter Offer TC : Yet to Decide
YOE : 4 Years

I’ve seen folks who were let go without counter offers at Tesla cause they were jerks in the first place.
For example, if somebody currently in Seattle gets a big offer to move to Bay Area. In the unlikely event they get matched, why not stay where they're wanted and basically getting more after factoring in taxes and cost of living?
However, I am not moving anywhere so we can rule out the location factor
We don’t know what you do or if you like it there, where the next offer is from, were you looking for a new gig, or ...
?
