No idea why people say Amazon is so bad, appl, meta, and google are way worse. Pip is nothing to be afraid of, just fake funny stories to read on toilet. Amazon has great wlb if you set boundaries
Also Amazon is setting market rate for eng, way higher offers now, 350k base. Tier 1 infrastructure, no one uses GCP they use AWS. No lowballs like Google and apple. With tech stocks drop, Amazon's cash heavy offers are even more enticing especially compared to meta. Time to join amazon. They are hiring

No amount of bananas can entice me to join a company that is ruthless with PIP. I am no under performer but having read tales, I’d steer clear.
Haven’t experienced it yet, but I wouldn’t want the stress involved in PIP or similar attrition rules to even my enemies. I believe low performers/everyone should be given a fair chance to uplevel and improve, not as a formalized process to churn and recycle which can be misused by poor managers.
If you want us to entertain your theory please do provide evidence even if anecdotal of Google’s wlb being worse than amazons. Please do, really
Also in this poll 100% of your options are positive about Amazon, and you tell me "hey you see, everyone voted for 'up'!" ???
