I was treated unfairly at adobe and hr did nothing. So many terrible managers but no way to notify hr without risking your career.

  • The problem with many women and diversity employees is that they correlate "unfairness" or challenges they have at work with their gender, race, color, etc.

Many people are treated unfairly including me today but I did not say that MICROSOFT is unfair to MEN. I only think my manager was unfair to me in this particular situation.

Please elaborate on how you were treated unfairly because you are a woman or don't make such an arbitrary statement with zero context

But that’s because there are far fewer negative stereotypes and power imbalances related to being a man in the workplace. I would argue that the essence of privilege is not coming out of a situation and being forced to wonder “did that happen because I messed up/did great, or because I’m a woman/minority?” It’s being judged based on a category, not your own merit.
And of course it can impact men, too. For instance, if a male nurse is passed up for a special case because of stereotypes about male personalties and proficiency, that’s wrong.
That said, the post is vague and it would be nice to have more information—I’ve heard really positive things about Adobe.

HR is not to protect or take care of you, it is there to protect company . You are just an asset or resource, always replaceable. Only way out would be to sue with proper documentation and logs.

There was a horror story a few weeks ago here of an employee who was forced to work after a miscarriage

  • Start with collecting evidence. When situation is “she said he said” HR can’t do anything.

  • F*** Adobe. Unfortunately sexual harassment is now the norm in America.
