At Msft for example, we sign the offer which say $100k worth of RSUs. The stock price on the 15th of next month is considered (ex $200) to allot you the number of RSUs (in this example 500).
What is the typical range of RSUs for a P4 and P5 level engineer these days?
I had a lot of offers though, and kind of started a multi-way bidding war. So I don’t think what I got was the norm for my level. But you may be able to make similar things happen!
Indeed pays much more than Grab. Also current market value of grab is around $10B. Compare that to ipo prices for Lyft and Uber. The stock may double or triple when going public but it isn’t going up much. You aren’t going to get $400k tc there.
