I have put BMW M3 competition as well but it's really stretching my budget. I will using the car for daily commute in city and some occasional road trips.

    Enjoy a gas powered vehicle while you can. Eventually we'll all be moving to electric in the future anyway. Also, Teslas look lame.

  • Tesla design is aging and never updated. To me, they already look very 2015 and I think will be very long in the tooth in a year or two. How it looks matters a lot.

    M3 or M340i all the way!! Don’t see why Tesla is even on the list if you actually want that feel of a good performance vehicle. You won’t have the same fun driving a Tesla, it’s too plain.

      Very inclined on the M3. My mind is calculating 20k price difference between M340/440. I've been checking out so many youtube videos on this haha

      Definitely dont stretch yourself too thin. M340/440 are good options as well. However, the M3 badge and the car is definitely something special. Have you driven any of these yet? Also, do you plan to track your car?

      IMO, that 20k is not huge given your new TC, and the prospects of changing jobs again in the future (TC is only going to go up). You are probably going to keep this car longer than your new job 😃

  • M3 comp is in a class of its own compared to the rest. And trust me if it’s at the top of your budget you don’t want to drive an M

    • It’s expensive on any German car, but on M’s and AMG’s especially. I’ve owned both and never regretted a second. If you love your car it won’t hurt that bad at the end of the day

      I don't have a car for few years. That's why I'm kind of excited on this one. I've been thinking to get one for last couple of year but didn't make sense financially.

      I am actually thinking on keeping this car long term. A lot of people telling me to lease german vehicles instead of buying them. I'm more inclined on owning it, that's why I'm a bit more interested on m3 competition over m340 or 440.
