Ali-Baba or Tencent office in US?

Any ali-baba or tencent offices in US? Do either offer large rsu packages? Preferably cloud.

If so would anyone be willing to refer me?

    Yes they have offices. OP what's is your profile at ACN? Are you looking for an Ops role?

    No idea about Tencent, but you won't get a large RSU package compared to an American company. But you may get a more diversified experience, which in itself is worth it. Do you speak Mandarin?

      Don’t know mandarin but willing to learn, white guy born in US not sure if that would be a bad thing. I do ML and full stack at ACN, lots of front end recently. I’m not sure what Ops role would do, but am really interested in cloud sde1 so open to different kinds of roles.

      Prepping for FB and AWS right now. Baba stock is pretty attractive if the rsu package is decent it could be better than an aws offer right now in my opinion.

      How is the morale at baba right now with the stock getting beat down so much lately?

      Mandarin is required if you want to be a developer. Not sure how you'd communicate. They may make an exception if you start at a junior level.

      I suggest having a look at open positions to geta feel for the overall programing stack.
