I have a job offer at GoDaddy for 130k and I’m planning to move to SF or Sunnyvale at the end of June. The job is remote. Other GoDaddy employees have mentioned that once I move to the bay area, my salary will go up but lets just think of my salary as 130k (100k base 10k stocks 20k bonus). When I negotiated I said Im staying in Chicago, but then I changed my mind. I’m looking to double my salary in 2-3 years and grow my professional network. Please lmk if moving to SF or Sunnyvale is worth it. I’m leaning more towards SF since it seems more fun that Sunnyvale. I’m trying to make friends too and not just think about TC all the time lol. 21M who is about to graduate

Honestly what you are doing is kind of dumb. If you’re going to live in SF shoot for a SF salary which can be double what you are making now. My best guess is that if godaddy does accommodate a salary increase for moving to SF, it will be small.
