Are you aware of responsibilities of TPM ? That too in Amazon culture, you may soon get bored.

@bsns the team would be Last Mile. And I got to know that Pip at L6 is not that easy. Plus if they have to do URA it's no worth paying extra money and spending 6 hours on loop and recruiting time. But I can see what you mean to say for lot of work. I believe Last mile team has eccentric level of work.
With side projects I meant working on open source projects and keep learning from them.

But As you are telling I guess there will be no time at all for any learning or anything extra. What do you think about my Dell joining comment.

Your strategy after joining Dell is good. And you can join in Amazon as SDM. And regarding pip, they will go to any extent even at the cost of hiring external one. I have seen TPMs and SDMs getting pipped, though the procedure is different.

If you're okay with the TPM role, what's even the comparison here? The pay difference is too high to even consider Dell

Exactly this is the dilemma. I would have liked SDM role more, but I have worked with .Net all the way and Amazon is all but . Net. I done see if there is any other way for me to enter Amazon. I have good communication and coordination skills so I am thinking to give it a try, although I am nervous.

If your objective is to enter into Amazon, then you can choose it. I have seen TPMs moving to SDM role in Amazon, so that could be one route.

Amazon for a better future but please check your interest. TPM might be very different from what you are doing. If you are inclined to go that route, makes sense. I doubt a lot of swes prefer that

My vote is for Amazon. But confusing part is role. Your deciding factor should be role here, as both the roles are different.
