I have recently left an Indian IT company and joined Fidelity Investments. Its been 3 weeks since I joined them. One of interviews that I gave for EY (Ernst n Young) long back is finally knocking my door. They have released the offer letter. I am very happy with Fidelity but still thinking that may be I can keep EY as a backup in case after 2-3 months I don’t find the culture and work at Fidelity interesting! It will take 2-3months of time to join EY considering the visa processing work. However, this will reflect really badly on my resume if I leave a job within 2-3 months.
If I will accept the offer, they will start the background verification and H1B transfer visa process. I am not sure if I want to do this as I want to focus my mind in my new job and I am also going to be a dad soon!
Role is same in both the companies ( Product Management)
Total Compensation is almost same in both the companies
