expedia SDE team matching
I have a verbal offer from Expedia and am in the team matching stage. Have gotten 5 teams to choose from: Financial Core Transaction Service (2 teams within this org) Global marketing Risk and security Multi item trip Egencia Can someone from the company help me with which team is better in terms of visibility, growth and compensation? Also, does the compensation depend on what team i choose? Leaving amazon coz of burnout. Current TC: 215K

Just be aware that this team is very central to the success of Expedia. If a service goes down you are on the hook to address the issues. If you are looking at something less stressful you may want to consider one of the other teams. Additionally the team has gone towards a split Seattle-India team so you will need to spend some late night and early mornings on calls
