the glassdoor ratings are through the roof. not sure if thats possible
Process is a royal pain indeed. Fun place to work, cool people, challenging technical problems. But you'll be busting your ass. Not easy.
Busting my ass in the interview? Or in the job? Also what exactly is the product. Are the Glassdoor reviews legit?
The job. It's a lot of work. There were folks coming from consulting that were expecting an easier ride - not happening. Reviews are a bit oversaturated but generally true (except a few gushing "everything is perfect", someone is too excited or works in marketing). Marketing reminds everyone to post on Glassdoor but it's not enforced/tracked.
Don't think it's going to get FAANG big. Work is more interesting (in some roles) and you get a bigger piece of responsibility/ownership.
Hmm I’m thinking I should probably skip on them then. Sounds just like a startup where there’s no real value of getting in now or in 5 years (if they make it) because they’ll always be second tier
This sentiment aged poorly, looks like people hired in as of this year now have 10x equity value post IPO..
I applied there. People seemed pretty happy to be working there and what they are doing seemed pretty cool, but there interviewing process has like 6 steps, so beware
Doesn’t every company have that now, ffs
