Today I had a call with Microsoft recruiter, they shared the following numbers
Base - 111000
RSU - 130000
Sign on - 30000 split in two years
Annual Bonus ~ 10%
Recruiter did mentioned regarding Annual Stock Awards, not sure what is that exactly and how different it is from annual Bonus.
New TC - 169600 Y1, 162100 Avg 4 yrs
Yoe 2.5
Current TC - 75k
How does this look?
I have a competing offer from Expedia with higher base but almost similar TC, in Austin. MSFT recruiter told me she’ll look into how can she increase it, one possible solution is to request uplevel (L61).
Need some advice, should I go for up-level( if HM approves it) for more compensation or accept the current offer?
