My company just started the PERM process for me, and the law firm gave us a timeline of preparation before filing PERM:
- 8-9 months prevailing wage determination with DOL
- 3 months preparation in the firm
~ which makes it a total of about a year before even filing PERM
Does that sound reasonable? I've seen posts giving much shorter prep timelines. Thanks!

Non OES = Employer uses some private survey or something to do it.
Non OES is usually lower but DOL takes longer to process it since they have to verify the data.
Amazon is likely OES though.
