I’m mid 30 in Midwest. Is it worth moving?

Update 1: worth buying good weather in the Bay Area. The winter here sucks.
Update 2: Minnesota

Even in small towns now the houses are over $100k. It's actually ridiculous. Cities are $500k

@HPE not even that anymore. That will get you an ok house in an ok neighborhood. Started seeing 1 million for good neighborhoods, 2000sq ft house.

Every single person that is saying Yes , Midwest , Minnesota has either never been there or grew up there .
Having been there multiple times , including winter where temp did not go above 5 F , would need 1M minimum to live there

RE in MN is not cheap as you think, some people still prefer to live there because of the education system for their kids and low cost of living. You only pay around $500k for >=8points public schools but you don’t have the same good public schools with 1M in bay area. Unless you have a lot of money to pay for private schools or 2-3M house in good neighborhoods. You are also not sure you would have the same income to maintain your house and expenses. You don’t want to live there couple years and move to different area if something happens to your income/job.
