I am currently having interviews for Berlin, and the recruiter in the beginning mentioned they will consider me for T3 and T4. After the technical round they decided to consider me for T3. I talked to the recruiter again, and he said T3 is kinda equivalent to senior outisde (minus the title, as it is SE II), and it ranges from 3 to 7 years of experience. While T4 (title Senior) is more like end of Senior level beginning of Staff. Can you confirm that? As 3 to 7 years sounds a lot like SDE II for example in Amazon. What is the difference in responsibilities between each?
Yes it's correct title-wise and yoe. For the practical responsibility is somewhat hazy, they're mostly working on the same thing with the same scope, I have seen a lot of capable T3 who are way more useful than a lot of coasting T4 here.
YoE is irrelevant. We have some amazing T3s which I would consider Staff or Principal in other, smaller companies.
How is the pay for T4 and T5 (For Dubai)?
