Tesla doesn't have leadership and wlb. Pay is stocks growth.

Different to Tesla in the sense that Tesla aims to be the best at 0-60 acceleration and self driving, whereas Byton was aiming for luxury and driver comfort and user experience with large screens and integration across your car/phone/smart watch/Alexa

Sounds like a missed opportunity for consumers! Would have been a great car for road trips!

Just like Bezos, Musk doesn’t strike me as a guy that cares about his employees in any capacity. I’d expect Tesla to reflect just that.

I recently got contacted by a recruiter for material planning. They told me there is basicLly no WLB. They work hard about 13 hrs a day for the past few months and they love it. They also dont support financially additional education.

How is their TC? Recruiter has not brought up TC convo and I have my final round soon. I hope they don’t low ball like they used to given that they’re in a much better situation

@espresa - I think the world is better because of Tesla. Have you biked through traffic and sat next to a diesel tailpipe waiting for the light to change? Have you been to China or India and talked with locals about how many Blue Sky days they get a year? Tesla isn’t perfect but we’re nudging everyone in the right direction.

Cruise is great, but legacy automakers (other than VAG maybe) don’t seem to give a shit about their grandkids.

I’m not saying oil exploration is good. But, saying the world is better because of Tesla in a blanket statement is plain wrong.

And Lithium recycling, while possible, is extremely difficult and expensive. Which explains why even Tesla is doing it on a small scale. And then comes the problem of toxic waste disposal, electricity generation and distribution.

Yes, Tesla is nudging the world and speeding up the EV adoption. But, we still don’t have a complete answer in terms of recycling. And in the battery day all Tesla is investing in is to make batteries more efficient. No one’s talking about increasing the recycling efficiency.

What's tesla ops? No one calls it that inside. Rest are shit. Pay can be below avg to avg. But if you've been there for the last year, pay has been amazing. New hires, not so much.
