When does manager level get evaluated in the interview process at facebook? Just got an M1 offer at 235k/1.15m/100k, but its is less then 1/2 of what I currently make. I dont even think M2 or D1 could make my current comp. Is it worth pushing for a higher level? Even possible?
Btw, are you guys hiring?
Always hiring. I have a M1 open under me.
I am interested, have experience only as a tech lead, not people manager though. Interested in an Engineering role as well
What is your level/role at Snapchat that earns 1m+ TC a year?
What level are you in Snap at ? M2/D1? How on earth are Snap salaries so high ? Perhaps you are one of the early employees ?
Most M1/M2 that have been here a few years are making 1+m. New hires are just under 1m but can get there
What’s M1 compared to IC levels?
How did you manage to secure so much TC at Snap? Is this for software engineering?...
Currently Over 2m TC this year. Between M2 and D1. I can easily make over 1m and targeting 1.2-1.5 ongoing. I understand roles are limited at my TC but want to understand the process for interviewing at FANG and achieving similar comp.
You need to be targeting D2 or entry VP level to match 1.5m comp. Without being hired into those levels, maintaining your current TC will be close to impossible
Do they even hire externally at those levels?
Op, can I dm you for the M1 referral?
I could manage to increase rsu to 1.4 but yeah nowhere near your comp. i would love to join snap though if you guys are hiring!
What is your background/experience if you want to work for Snap?
Applied ml, ads and search 😉
Are you based out of LA ? Or SFo
Hi, do you know when Facebook classify M1 or M2? I had recruiter call, then he scheduled a video interview. But he never talked about M1 or M2 or salary.
I’d skip and stay in Snap
