Hello there,
My company has never filed a h1b visa. I’ve learned that it can take up to 5k-7k$ for the first ever h1b visa. But i am wondering if my company can file h1b lottery for me before paying that amount? And only pay if I get the h1b lottery?
Or how does this work? If i only need less than a grand to file, can I do it for this year, since the due is in March?
Thanks!

1. Register for lottery
2. Once you are selected in lottery, file LCA and H1B petition.
Is that clear now?
