Can apple folks comment on remote timeline?

I've heard it's gonna go back to on-site in phases. Right now it's phase one.

One of my friends' hiring manager is implying that they (SEG, hardware) might have to go onsite soon (like in a few weeks or couple of months) and they're already starting to have meetings about this stuff. What have you guys heard?
